Job Roles
- Food preparation: Prepare food, measure ingredients, and plate basic dishes
- Kitchen organization: Keep the kitchen organized and tidy, clean stations, and wash and dry equipment
- Stock management: Ensure fresh produce and ingredients are available, check expiration dates, and discard expired food
- Food safety: Ensure food is handled and prepared safely, and protect customers from unsafe food
- Customer service: Respond to guest feedback, communicate with customers, and maintain a high level of customer service
- Training: Train entry-level kitchen staff and develop new skills
- Liaison: Liaise with other colleagues and external stakeholders, including suppliers, delivery companies, and customers
