Position: Demi Chef de Partie (Demi CDP)
Location: Kuwait
Industry: Restaurant / Hospitality
Age : 25 to 35 Maximum
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
Prepare ingredients including cutting, chopping, marinating, portioning, and basic mise en place.
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and food presentation.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned workstation and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
Monitor ingredients and inform the Chef de Partie of shortages or wastage.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef.
Work as part of a professional kitchen team and maintain a positive attitude.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Demi CDP, Commis Chef, or similar kitchen position in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion standards.
Professional attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
